When you take a vacation with us you can leave your car parked for a change: It’s fun to cycle in the town and along the cycle paths around Algund.
In Algund there are numerous opportunities to discover the wonderful landscape by bike. Whether cycling through vineyards and orchards with a mountain or racing bike, or over forest trails and mountain pastures, there is the right challenge for all levels of difficulty. A new cycle path from the Resia Pass to Algund is a paradise for all cyclists. For an especially comfortable cycling experience, we recommend the Train & Bike offer in the nearby Vinschgau Valley. From Algund train station you can take the Vinschgau railway to the Resia Pass, then comfortably ride back by bike – going slightly downhill all the time – until you reach Algund. Of course, you can also get off the train earlier at one of the many stops along the way. By the way, bikes do not have to be taken from the hotel, but can be easily rented at six train stations. Anyone who gets too tired along the way to continue cycling can return the hired bike to one of these train stations and take the train back to Algund. We offer:
